• What happens when I register my CV?

  We actively use our database to find new employees for our clients, both for publicly advertised positions and for other opportunities. Your skills and experience are then available to us in a database where YOU remain in control of your personal data.

• When will I receive a response to my application? To pick up a draggable item, press the space bar. While dragging, use the arrow keys to move the item. Press space again to drop the item in its new position, or press escape to cancel.

  We will keep you updated throughout the process. Sometimes you may receive a quick response, while other times it can take longer. It is not unusual for a recruitment process to take several months, and there may be periods when we do not have any new information to share. If you are unsure about the status of your application, feel free to chat with us or contact us through another channel.

• What happens during a recruitment process?

  It varies somewhat from one position to another, but in general we need to find out whether your skills and experience are the right match for the role and its requirements. Just as importantly, you need to know whether the employer is the right fit for you.

  To do that, we will often need to talk with you, perhaps meet you, and sometimes give you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills in other ways. It is important that both you and the employer have had the opportunity to get answers to all relevant questions.

• What about privacy and GDPR?

  GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation. It is the European Union’s regulation governing the protection and processing of personal data.

  The GDPR was adopted by the EU in 2016 and has applied in EU Member States since 25 May 2018. Its purpose is to protect individuals when their personal data is processed and to give people greater control over how information about them is collected, used, stored and shared.

  Norway is not a member of the EU, but as a member of the European Economic Area (EEA), the GDPR has been incorporated into Norwegian law. The GDPR became applicable in Norway on 20 July 2018 through the EEA Agreement and the Norwegian Personal Data Act.

  This means that Norwegian organisations that process personal data must comply with the applicable data protection requirements. Personal data includes information that can directly or indirectly be linked to an identifiable person, such as candidates, employees, customers or business contacts.
